HR AND ADMINISTRATION SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Company is looking for an HR and Administration Specialist (English Speaker), who is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources and administration department. The ideal candidate should have experience in HR, Recruitment, and administrative work in Construction and/or Industrial sectors, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures. Most of the role will involve performing the hiring and onboarding procedures, HR-related administration, and HR-related support. We are eager to find a person who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce.

LOCATION: Gdansk, Poland

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all HR & Administration-related tasks and reporting to HR and Administration Director.
Performing recruitment and hiring process-related tasks.
Creating recruitment plans, interview schedules, and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws.
Performing HR-related administration work (contract updates, visa, etc.) with existing employees and new hires.
To improve and document HR processes to achieve smooth onboarding for newcomers to the company.
Performing tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
Support in developing and delivering strategic HR plans to fit the overall business direction.
Ensuring the processes are up to date and of high quality.
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

EU citizen/Temporary Residence.
Fluent English and Polish language (written and verbal).
Prior experience in HR and recruitment in the Construction and/or Industrial sectors.
Knowledge of HR management responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
Understanding of HR policy and procedures.
Knowledge of Polish labour law.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
